Every owner of real estate should have assurance that he holds a good legal title to his property.  Many purchasers of abstracts erroneously believe that when a Abstract Company furnishes an abstract, the filling of such an order conclusively shows that there are no clouds upon or flaws in the chain of title.  We wish to correct this wrong impression.  It is the role of the Abstract office to do only those things to which it certifies, and the abstract, at it is finally built up and assembled is only a 

HISTORY of the title and not

a GUARANTEE of the Title

be the title good or bad.  Hence the abstract when procured should be submitted to an attorney for examination and for his opinion as to marketability of title.
